19A – Idea Napkin No. 2
1) My name is Natalie Belluccia, I am a sophomore here at University of Florida. My talents include, writing, reading and creativity. When I was in high school I built a 3d printer and I was able to sell 3d printed customized phone cases during lunch at highschool. My aspirations is to become a successful businesswoman and accomplish all my goals in life. If I were to start this business it would play a huge roll in my life I would devote a lot of my time and money.
2) I am offering a parking garage for students to park on campus, This will solve customers unmet needs because there is a huge issue with parking, there is not enough parking around campus and it is a huge inconvenience to many students.
3) My customers are Students at the University of Florida who own a car. This parking garage is going to have a discount for students so whomever is using it will probably be in the lower- middle class division.
4) My customers care because parking around campus is extremely limited. This parking garage will give students the opportunity to park on campus without having the to worry about spending 30 minutes looking for a spot. In addition, My product is going to be a cheaper option for students.
5) What sets me apart from everyone else is that there are no parking garages on campus. This garage will be on campus in a general location that is easy accessible to many people. In addition my product has as student discount and yearly parking for a really cheap price, other parking garages are expensive.
I think these elements fit together and that my business would thrive at a place like University of Florida where there is extremely limited parking. I think all the aspects of my business fit together and are very reasonable and favorable to customers.
Both comments on my first idea napkin claimed that they think my idea is a great one The only thing they commented about the structure is the fact that how long will it take for me to obtain my money back. Another student commented if they would be paying for the space or the parking decal, I would say they are paying for the decal so they can sell it if they are not gonna be there for a semester.
Hello Natalie,
ReplyDeleteThank you for answering my question on the first assignment. I didn't even think about the benefits of owning the decal and selling it whenever it isn't being used. I believe your idea is reasonable and students would enjoy having another place to park and not having to compete for it. Your parking garage would be successful in a location such as the University of Florida because current parking spaces are limited and pricing is outrageously high.
Hey Natalie,
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job on this assignment. When I started reading it I thought it was going to be about your 3D printed cases. I think it is super interesting that you made and sold them at school. I would love to hear more about that. Since you already have business experience with selling the cases I am sure it will help you when pitching ans selling new business ideas or products.
Natalie,
ReplyDeleteI think that this is a great expansion upon your idea. The explanation of how purchased parking will occur is a crucial aspect of this assignment. I like the idea that the students would be able to purchase and then sell the decal. This allows people to purchase this parking ability without questions, about length and time. This crucial development allows you to continue in the development of this idea. I also found new and revised information on this assignment. Overall, I believe that your idea shows real promise, and look forward to the next development of your concept.
Hi Natalie, I like your idea of cheaper parking garages for students to use. I can agree that it is sometimes very difficult to find a spot to park on campus. One thing that I don’t agree on is where you say that there are no parking garages. Off the top of my head I can think of three and I know that there are more. So, you would have to compete with those parking garages and how convenient to use.
