19A – Idea Napkin No. 2

1) My name is Natalie Belluccia, I am a sophomore here at University of Florida. My talents include, writing, reading and creativity. When I was in high school I built a 3d printer and I was able to sell 3d printed customized phone cases during lunch at highschool. My aspirations is to become a successful businesswoman and accomplish all my goals in life.  If I were to start this business it would play a huge roll in my life I would devote a lot of my time and money.   2) I am offering a parking garage for students to park on campus, This will solve customers unmet needs because there is a huge issue with parking, there is not enough parking around campus and it is a huge inconvenience to many students. 3) My customers are Students at the University of Florida who own a car. This parking garage is going to have a discount for students so whomever is using it will probably be in the lower- middle class division. 4) My customers care because parking around campus is extre...

18A – Create a Customer Avatar

Image
My customers hobbies include painting, studying and reading. My customers are students who are eager to learn and always go to class. They tend to drivel car such as a Honda, a Nissan, or a Toyota; they don't drive upper class cars. The color of their cars are silver, white, or black. My customers watch documentaries and law and order. They do not have children they are college students and some of them may be adopted. Their favorite books are harry potter and the twilight series. Their favorite politicians range from Bernie Sanders to trump to Hillary Clinton. They range from 17-22 and they do not feel old. I have in common with the customer avatar that we are both students at the University of Florida, we both own cars on campus, and we both take classes at the business school. I think this is a coincidence because the parking garage is located  in Gainesville and there is a big university here their is a discount for students.

16A –What’s Your Secret Sauce?

I think that I am set apart from others because I have the capability to think about multiple things at one time. Growing up I was diagnosed with ADHD and while many think this is a disadvantage I take it at an advantage because instead of only grasping and focusing on one topic at a time I have the ability to focus on many things at the same time. It allows me to think of many different problems/solutions at a time and I use this to my benefit because I think if you are someone that doesn't have ADHD you are not used to your brain overwhelming with thousands of thoughts. Growing up the youngest of 4 children there was a lot of pressure on me to meet the high set bar of my three older siblings. All three of them are very intelligent people who got straight A’s throughout their education career. As the youngest my parents have always compared me to them and I think this benefited my worth ethic because it pushed me hard and they set really good examples that I had to follow.  In...

15A – Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2

For my three interviews I chose 3 people who attend the University of Florida with cars who park them at parking garages. I asked a numerous amount of questions and tried covering every topic so I would have more knowledge on what the customer wants in this product. I chose a junior, a senior and a sophomore. Interview 1 After speaking with a junior who owns a car on campus I found out a lot of valuable information that affected his decision while picking a parking garage. This student lives at the standard and parks his car at a downtown parking garage. He decided that the standard parking was too much money for him and he wanted a cheaper option. He wanted his car to be somewhat close to him but didn't care if he had to drive a couple of minutes to get to it. He obviously cares about the quality of the garage because he doesn't want to put himself or others in a safety hazard. When he was looking for a alternative garage he was trying to find the cheapest option that w...

14A – Halfway Reflection

Image
1. I have used time management, commitment, and creativity  to keep up with the requirements for this course. I would say that you have to be able to think outside the box and be flexible with your thoughts in order to come up with the ideas that this course requires. 2. I definitely think I developed a tenacious attitude during the past two months because this class requires a lot of writing and there are a lot of assignments. I felt like giving up a couple of times because I just couldn't keep up with all my  other classes but I put aside 3 hours everyday to practice this class and it made me very successful. 3. One tip I would offer to a student taking this class next semester is  that you should always keep an open mind and never give up, you should know that this class is only a couple months in your life and many other people have taken it and were successful in it and you can be too. Don't ever get discouraged while looking at the assignments just do the best...

13A – Reading Reflection No. 1

“Elon Musk” by Ashlee Vance What surprised me the most was the fact that he was that intelligent to create such a helpful product, he knew what the future needed in order to maintain a sufficient lifestyle.  His vivid imagination and extreme commitment allowed his dreams to come to life. I admire the fact that Musk was extremely committed to his ideas and made his dreams come to life. From an early age, even as a student Musk knew that he wanted to solve humanity's dependence on oil and create a safer environment for the future. He never gave up with dream and was committed to go broke while trying. He faced many dilemmas and problems that slowed him down but in the end he kept pushing forward which allowed him to be as successful he is today helping our environment and the future. I least admire that he was a big talker and promised things before he can make them happen. He would make promises and then takes years to come up with a solution. I think that a part of succe...

12A – Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 1

For this segment I chose three students who attend the University of Florida and have vehicles without parking spots at their residential home. One Senior, one freshman and one junior. I asked these students how they felt about parking around campus and they all on the same page that there is an issue that needs to be resolved. There is a shortge of parking all around campus and it is difficult to find spots. First interview I spoke to a senior at the University of Florida who lives behind mid who has a car and uses a parking garage downtown to store his car for the year. He said that the parking was too expensive at his apartment complex and he couldn't afford it. After searching for other options he was pleasantly surprised that there was a semi cheap parking garage downtown. This was his best option however he said that it is a inconvenience to have his car so far. It's a long walk to get it and he usually will call a uber to get it which is another expense. He believ...

11A – Idea Napkin No. 1

My name is Natalie Belluccia and I am a sophomore here at the University of Florida. My talents include organization, writing and 3D printing. My past experiences include selling 3D printed phone cases in high school and I also worked the books in my moms business, I did things like quickbooks, pay the bills and cash out checks. My aspirations are to allow  gainesville to have an easier option for parking. I think that this business would play a great roll in my life. I believe that if I am able to build a parking garage on campus that allows students to park year round for a cheap price it would greatly benefit a lot of students. This will solve customes unmet needs because many students struggle with finding parking spots around campus and spend a lot of time driving around looking for parking that just isn't there. My customers all live in Gainesville and I am offering this product to all of the students of University of Florida. As a student myself I know how difficult it ...
